The number of people eligible to receive the flu vaccine on the NHS this year has increased, and it is important that eligible patients get the flu vaccination. This is particularly important for those in at risk groups because flu can cause severe complications. Vaccination clinics will begin towards the end of September/ early October in various stages for different cohorts, with those in at risk groups prioritised.
